Chiropractor
Marcus Woodburn D.C.
Dr. Woodburn is from Riegelwood, NC and grew up in the Cape Fear area. He attended high school at Wilmington Christian Academy where he was an all-state baseball player. After high school, Dr. Woodburn went on to attend Liberty University where he studied athletic training and found his calling in chiropractic.
He learned how the body is supposed to function when its working at its highest level.
This drove him to attend Sherman College of Chiropractic where he obtained his doctorate of chiropractic. After graduating, Dr. Woodburn decided to move back to Leland and serve his community by teaching them how to live a life that is healthy and free of drugs and medication.
Office Manager
Christy Woodburn
Christy and Dr. Marcus met and started dating in 2011. At the time, Christy was an Emergency Medical Technician and a Volunteer Firefighter for Acme-Delco Riegelwood Fire & Rescue. Due to the stresses that Fire and Rescue have on the body, Dr. Marcus introduced Christy to a chiropractor in Wilmington, N.C. (that he had been under care of since he was a young boy).
It was there that Christy discovered she had a mild case of scoliosis. She continued with chiropractic care and saw substantial improvement.
In 2014 Dr. Marcus and Christy were married. After Dr. Marcus graduated in 2017, he and Christy moved back to Riegelwood, NC. In October of 2017, they welcomed their first child, Kinley, into the world. Christy was adjusted by Dr. Marcus all throughout her pregnancy and was only in labor for 4 hours, with no pain medications or interventions. In May of 2020 Christy and Dr. Marcus welcomed their youngest daughter, Brooklyn, into the world. This time Christy was only in labor for an hour and a half and again, went without pain medications or interventions. Christy gives all the credit to God and Chiropractic.

Chloe Rivenbark
I was born and raised in North Carolina, born in Wilmington and moved to Southport young. I was immediately drawn to athletics and sports of all kind.
I eventually took to dance at the age of 5 and never stopped. I went to East Carolina University for College and got into the dance program, giving me a degree in dance performance and choreography. My joy throughout college was science and injury prevention classes that taught me a ton about the body. All in all, I can't wait to start this chapter of my life and another length of growth!
